These terms apply to every embroidery font and design you buy or download from us, including free ones, unless a product page says otherwise. When you buy or download a file, you agree to them.
You can
- Stitch the designs and fonts as often as you like, on your own machines.
- Give and sell things you’ve stitched with them: shirts, towels, bags, patches and so on. [Choose one: “with no limit” / “up to 500 finished items per design” / “for personal use only, no selling”].
- Resize, recolor or combine designs for your own stitching, and convert them to your machine’s format.
- Keep backup copies for yourself.
You can’t
- Share, sell, give away or upload the files themselves, in any format, whether they’re changed or not. This includes sharing them in groups, on file-sharing sites or with a friend’s machine.
- Sell the designs as patterns, digital files, printables, SVGs or iron-on transfers.
- Use the designs or fonts in a logo or trademark.
- Claim the designs as your own work or remove our name from them.
Free fonts and designs
Free files come with the same terms. Please share the link to our free fonts page or the product page instead of the files.
Before you stitch
We test every design on real fabric, but machines, fabric and stabilizer vary. Stitch a test on scrap fabric first, especially after resizing or converting. We can’t refund garments or blanks damaged while stitching.
Refunds
Digital files can’t be returned once downloaded. If a file doesn’t open or doesn’t stitch properly, contact us via the Contact page and we’ll fix it, send another format, or refund you. [Adjust to match your store’s refund policy.]
Ownership
All designs and fonts are the original work of [your name or business name] and stay our property. You’re buying a license to use them as described here, not the copyright.
